The Threshing Nest

Wow. That was a few weeks off, huh?  This is why. Two weeks ago I had a quad bike accident, ending up with the thing rolling on top of me. I Fractured my Skull in a few places, and got a couple of shiny metal plates inserted so it holds itself together. I’m pretty lucky I didn’t come off with more than that, and I’ve had some amazing people take care of me. In hospital for about a week and a half, and staying with my parents for a week after that. I’m finally back at my flat, and recovering pretty well, just looking slightly beaten up. So! Updates to the comic will be happening again soon.  This drawing’s by Rob, a mate of mine, who was co-incidentally the ambulance driver on the day.

Heard of this guy? I hadn’t til a friend showed me THAT. Fucking Green Rocking Chicken Horse. Respect. It’s a great example of how diverse one person can become. Or perhaps, how bloated the ego gets. So what did you want to be when you were growing up?  I wanted to be an Inventor, but I had no idea what that was. I’m pretty much still that way, not knowing exactly what or where. My day job is commercial animation, and that’s pretty close, but there are some things you can’t do.. and sometimes even those things you can do, you can’t do quickly.. so this webcomic is an outlet for them. Hope you get into it!
